I'm a senior with a small townhouse and used various A/C-Htg. contractors for about 6 years. . Even though my large TRANE unit was installed new when I moved her e in 2005, each time I had the unit checked I was told it needed some sort of repairs....One of these repair men told me that I must have a large amount of Freeon added even though he told me he did not find any leaks. (I let him do that and the A/C unit ran noisy for some time.) The unit is on the roof and I cannot monitor it at all. FINALLY in 2011, I researched carefully and opted to use HAMSTRA because of their excellent reviews and trained staff. They sent out a very capapbe technician named "JIM" ....He noted that something had been hooked up incorrectly and took care of that efficiently. He was polite, fast and answered all of my questions. In 2012, I made an appt. for JIM to come again...He was here today, checked out the unit and left me feeling reassured that it was in good operating order. I am so pleased to have a company...and technician.. whose word I can rely on and who is so well trained that he can spot needed corrections that others have consistently missed. .I will never use any other firm but Hamstra!.
